iPod video wont play sound?

Total shot in the dark. I hope some ipod sorcerer is online today.

So, my ipod video randomly stopped playing sound through the headphone
jack. I think i tugged on my headphone cable weirdly a while ago and
thats what messed it up. Anyhow, i replaced the headphone jack and hold
switch, but that didnt fix my issue. I tried new headphones as well,
which also didnt work. I even tried that trick where you press on the
lower right side of the ipod to check if its a logic board issue, but
that didnt work either. What should i do?

EDIT: i dont know why you cant reply to forum comments >:( its annoying as shit. But anyway, it does play clickwheel sounds AND i even got the headphone jack working for a solid 30 minutes before it suddenly stopped working again. Thank you for your replies! I wish i could reply to them
