I would give you anything at the drop of a hat: money, clothes, letters, any part of me that you want. I'd dress it up for you, too. You know I would. You've seen me do it.
I used to think that you were being smart and responsible, but I'm tired of being responsible. I was so good and patient for years, then I tasted the sweetest forbidden fruit. All I had to do was compliment your eyes to expose your core. Your pit, the seeds hidden away that others don't take a second glance at, I'll cherish. I'll keep your heart in a jar, as you've kept mine unknowingly. These letters will be the richest soil. Every song, a ray of sunlight. Every tear you cry when you wake up without me will turn into a soft, soothing rain.
I don't need to worry about you falling for me. You made it known that you already have. You just need to remember that you don't have to fear. I have already caught you, and I promise to keep your heart safe when you entrust me with it.
