sewing a tie

Very cool tie there

Hey everyone, Hello. I hope this is the right forum for the topic.

So, why do I even decided to write this thing (I dunno).

But I want to sew myself a tie. without any significant prior experience in sewing.

Like, I sew couple scraps together, and that's about It.

With all that said, I want some advice from you out there; maybe a link to a good tutorial, maybe some tips, maybe even suggestions for some easier projects to train for a bit, something like that.

And, I guess that's about it, Thx in advance  :)

hii!! i managed to find this tutorial:

https://charmedbyashley.com/how-to-sew-an-adult-tie/

(id recommend directly scrolling down to the end of the site to the pattern download and the youtube tutorial)

an easier project to start with tho would definetly be a skirt (thats usually the first thing they teach in courses) or maybe a shirt (they are a bit more complicated). a tie is definetly not a bad starting point either since its pretty simple too

hope the tie comes out good!!!

0liv3er, thank you very much for the tutorial. But I'm a guy, and, as such, do not wear skirts. Having a kilt would be extremely funny though, and shirts are also cool, so thank you anyways.
