Buried Or Planted

We can choose to lay there and die or to bloom.

A seed does not become a plant until it is buried and broken. Then it turns into something beautiful, something useful, something that is a blessing to man-kind.

So we can think of it as being buried, being over, being done. We can surrender, give up and quit, or we can decide that we are in our time of preparation for something even greater to come. We can begin planning our victory party instead of making funeral arrangements. 

Remember the ugly caterpillar when it goes into the cocoon to die. The cocoon seems like a grave, it is ugly, it looks like death, it is dark and quiet inside, but then the beautiful butterfly emerges from inside. Not without struggle, not without challenge, but it is that wrestling, that pushing, that struggling that strengthens the butterfly to be able to soar with the wind.

Maybe you haven't been buried (though it may seem that way), maybe you have been planted for your time of preparation to your greatest promotion.
