I've made many skits and videos with my friends and I'd like to make them into DVDs so I no longer have to store them in editing apps. For reference, I have an old HP (not quite sure what model) it's can burn CDs (ive already made plenty) but I wasn't sure if burning a DVD was as easy.
Any comments would be appreciated!

If your old laptop is running either vista or 7, then windows has a dvd making software already on the system. If not, you can try dvdstyler, it's basic enough... there's also dvd flick.

not sure about linux or bsd, but on windows i use CDBurnerXP to burn CDs and DVDs. it's been the only thing that worked well for me.
