any recommendations on body horror movies?

American Mary (2012) is one of my faves, it's both body horror & splatter horror.  It has a great story and compelling characters.  Basically a revenge story, but there's a lot more to it than only that.  Absolutely recommend.

If you want something truly disturbing, though, i'd say go for Tusk (2014).  I only watched a review for it on YouTube and that was enough for me.  Gore is one thing, the uncanny valley is another.  (It also has Justin Long as the protagonist, he was also the victim in Jeeper's Creepers.)
