The hardest part of the music making process?

I figured I would ask since there seems to be a few musicians who use this website. 

Personally, I find it hard to write lyrics with no music.  I'm learning how to play the guitar but that's going painfully slow and I haven't figured out how a Digital Audio Workstation works minus the save and open button.  

I don't have any musicians in my life i could ask for help, lol.  Lets just share our music making struggles and maybe give advice to each other?
