What will today bring?

What will today bring? We get to decide!

We are the ones waking up to a blank slate that we get to fill out. We get to determine how today will go. Some will try to steal our plan, but we getto decide if we will let them. Outside influences may try to alter the outcome, but we get to decide if we will give in to those things or to keep our focus.

We are all influenced by the activities, the interactions, the interuptions of the day. That is called life. But we get to choose how those things will affect us. The mindset we start out the day with has a large part to do with how we will react when (not if, but when) those things come about.

Decide that today will be a good day. That the final product on todays canvas will be wonderful. Set your heart and mind on making that happen and as the day unfolds you will find the ways around those disruptions and distractions to find the glory in this day. THEN, do it again tomorrow. Don't let others determine what your slate will look like, dictate the outcome yourself before the day even begins.

Romans 8:28 says that God works out all things for the good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. It doesn't always look like what we think it would, it doesn't always come in the package we thought it would come in, but in the end, we have a promise that we can hold onto. So start the day with expectation and look for it throughout the day.
