im new :-D any tips..?

please give me advice, I've been going thrifting for a while now (about a year, maybe 2) but can't seem 2 find any scene clothing other than a blue and black star jacket (i live in middle Florida soooo) also music, I'd love 2 hear new bands and stuff! I'd love some general advice.
