i want to get into final fantasy, but i know playing them from an end is futile and maybe also a little stupid. which would u recommend? either which gets me the better understanding or just whichever game is best.

- took the series in a completely different direction
- active dimension battle dunking on everything before it
- && setting the tone for future ff battle systems
- fresh & exciting mediterranean/middle eastern/classical vibes
- peak ambient/atmospheric soundtrack
only drawback was the lack of attention towards plot/char development
which is why it doesn't get a great deal of love but
it's still a damn fine entry, especially the zodiac age release that has so much content for it :3
