Very unpopular.
Doesn't help that it's pretty primitive as far as forums go (not that the majority of the userbase here ever experienced anything better).

main issue with forums and groups is that there's no sitewide notifs for when new threads get started
kinda quells any potential activity tbh
BUT THERE IS HOPE

rss - its how ppl can get push notifs for new posts, potentially boosting activity
ofc you need a bunch of ppl on board for it to mean anything but oh well, its a workaround at least

You have to order topics by how recent they are, not by the number of replies. It's the default in some groups, but not the main forums, and it can trick you.

Thank you for the reply @goat!! I actually was wondering what the rss feed was for (I never touched any rss thingys in my life ) didn't know it was for notifs. Cool!
