I have not had a DS in YEARS, but one of the games that I had the fondest memories on was AA:WW. I have played New Horizons not too long ago and although I can appreciate the amount of content there is in that game... there certainly is more charm to Wild World in my eyes (probably because of nostalgia) and I wouldn't doubt that I had about 50 to 80 hours on that game when I was a kid... one of the most memorable things about it was that I had a crush on Bluebear (AS A KID MIND YOU!!), giving them as many gifts as I could and spending the most time with them compared to other villagers, and to my surprise they just decide to pack things up and abandon me :( Any other memories of the game that someone could share?

Honestly Wild world is the best animal crossing game IMO. It's got charm, simplicity, It's peaceful, the vilagers are still rude and I somehow never run out of things to do its a fire game that deserves more love

I'll admit I started WW very late (earlier this year in fact), so I have little to go off of, but one memory that comes to mind was when I walked into a villager's house (I forget which one, RIP) and he straight up told me to piss off, which as someone whose Animal Crossing experience thus far had only been New Leaf and Pocket Camp I found incredibly funny. The gossiping is also very interesting compared to continuously doing tasks for villagers in NL (even though I enjoy doing the tasks and making the villager's day... why am I talking like this about NPCs lol).
