day 21/22 ...(>_<)

day 21: animatic
i spent about an hour getting sidetracked looking through my liked videos youtube playlist for this one but eventually settled on a recent favourite. it's really haunting and its one of those lovingly made fandom things where the more you rewatch it, the more details and references you spot. i wanted to redraw a scene from it, so i chose the one at 1:12. not because its the best but i think it's the most fun and better practise to draw full-body than just headshots.

i really liked the framing! i thought i'd go in janky with a thick pen to get the kind of losing-control emotion across, but then just kept going for the whole thing and added details with my usual one, so i guess it kind of lost the effect i was going for loool. i think kris's eye looks not scary and really stupid which is a bonus cuz it makes it funnier. i also think noelle's face was really hard to do, cuz i wanted her to be leaning away but her deer head... *shakes fist at furry anatomy*

copout!! i didn't do anything for this.. i was gonna try realism or something but that's not an experiment with my artstyle, its just a different artstyle. on day 18 i did like. an actual artstyle experiment. so im combining them Cuz I Can haha
