NEW FORWARD - I WROTE THESE A WHILE AGO, HAVEN'T READ BACK OVER THEM TO EDIT OR REITERATE YET BECAUSE I'M BUSY, BUT HERE IS MY GENERAL VIBE OF WHAT I FEEL SHREFFLO IS, NOBODY CAN REALLY SAY FOR SURE BECAUSE THATS LIFE IT'S DIFFERENT FOR EVERYONE DUHHH
Forward: The writing below is very off the cuff and copy-pasted from a post I shat out late last night. I don't know if "religion" is what my thing would be technically classified as, but I believe that my concept of God is involved with this thing. And I've called this thing a religion for 12 years now, so it feels natural. My concept, ideas, and feelings fluctuate over time, which I want my religion to support, as that's a basic part of human life. Below, I tried somewhat to explain this concept, of an Open Source Religion, one that does away with dated interpersonal strifes. Also please hit me up if you can do a good Mr. Bean impression, I'm trying to make a Mr. Bean themed metal album. I don't want my religion to be like other religions, I want it to be many things and I want to leave it to the universe and not think about it too hard, as that has always proven to me pointless. This is my first official writing of Shrefflo: my religion, perspective, wishes, and personal experience. Shrefflo is fully adaptable to each individual and my experience could never be someone else's. We love it, don't take nothing too serious

Shrefflo is my word for God, I believe in God in the same way I believe in water. It's everywhere, it's in everything, and it doesn't look or act like a person. During a summer pool day in my early life, two older children approached me in the bathroom. They asked "do you like ice water?" I responded, "water with ice in it? Yeah I guess." They laughed and said goodbye. It felt as if God spoke to me through those kids, introducing me to the blatant absurdity of the universe. Something felt strange about these kids too, they both stood motionless, maintaining strong eye contact and slight smirks throughout. They seemed alien, but welcoming, comforting even. I considered that they might have been making some kind of joke, possibly at my expense, but in the moment, I felt a calm, and without being able to identify it at the time, I felt as if this was the vibe that I wanted to hold onto and spread out into the world during my lifetime. I am eternally grateful for this experience, in the moment I felt as if I were unlocking a new form of thought.
Basically the Shrefflo religion believes in being a good person, not hating any groups or other religions. We believe God doesn't have a gender, we don't use any pronouns for God, as God is not a person, and because doing so allows more invocation.
God doesn't do a whole lot, but if you look out for it, God does communicate through visuals, people, experiences, through everything. We believe in the deconstruction of certain social constructs that provide more stress and harm than equity and peace. Take comfort in and live in the ideal future, here and now, with Shrefflo. We allow everyone in, God Bless, Shrefflo Bless, Stay Safe
I'm not here to tell you how to believe in God, Shrefflo, the universe, or anything. I am here to provide a place and spiritual anchor for real human beings to be real human beings in this time of growing insanity and isolation.
I also want Shrefflo to be more than a religion/spirituality/whatever. Shrefflo is also a creative group, currently only two artists, but we are always looking for more. We believe in full creative expression, expressing any idea you have through audio/visuals with what little we all have available.
For example, the next Shrefflo product planned is a Mr. Bean themed goregrind metal album.
We live in a time where anybody with a computer can make an album, a book, digital art pieces, and more, with barely any resources. We also strive to help our artists work with what they already have to plan and express what they want, deconstructing the ideas and rules of artistic mediums while keeping in mind what is true to them and some of the tried and true methods of expression, if wanted.
Beliefs change, and I don't know what I will believe in the future, but this is what I believe right now. I don't always know what Shrefflo is, but I've been pushing Shrefflo into the world for 12 years now, which makes it something. The Shrefflo symbol carries a strong power proven effective in rituals
