Victim Mindset

Forum: Life

Life happens. Scripture says "it will rain on the just and the unjust". That means all of us are going to face stuff. The question isn't IF, the question is WHEN, the answer comes in our response.
It we have all intentions to blame someone or something, we will always find that opportunity. It is always the government, the church, the economy, etc. There is always an excuse and an out, and we can remain in a defeated position.
OR, we can decide that it will not keep us down and we will come out on top anyways.
It is all a determination of our mindset and we all have the chance ourselves to decide which way we will go with it.
Which direction will our day go? We get to decide.
Love you all. Choose to have a blessed day. In Jesus name. Amen.

Antonn10 I also think people who always blame their problems on others could benefit from counseling or other special help. But, people have to recognize their actions that causes problems and then accept help that is offered. That doens't mean that we need to stop trying to help someone, but just be aware that those we try to help may put us in that group that they think needs to take the blame for their problems.

I think all of us on some occasions see how others have negatively affected our life. However, while we can't control others actions, we can control our reactions. We can try to find solutions to the problem (best to pray to God for guidance in what to do) or we can sit down and feel sorry for ourselves. Regretably, some people are so caught up in their pity party that it is impossible for them to see reason. Also, people with health problems can become extremely depressed and sometimes the medicine that is prescribed affects them negatively instead of the way intended and that adds another level of complexity.

We can only keep trying to help when we can and pray for the best.
