Us oldbies have a vastly different worldview than most on social media.
It gets us nothing but "Hey, Boomer" in response (& I'm clearly & proudly Gen-X)
I reply with, "Hey, back, Zoomer" (Gen-Z = young folks, sometimes younger than the onebeing addressed, much as tghey'remissig with "Boomer". . . I've always respected the Boomers & Greatest Generation, since childhod I sit & listen to learn from their lives. . .
I'm 54 now; got a few stories, but only of interest to those without experience, I'd guess.
Us Gen-X & older have the task of rebuilding the world, looks like; should be the Gen-Y & youngers' job, but they seem to be opting out. Preferring to play games & blame us.
I could blame my parents & their generation for stuff, but what good would it do? I'm forward-operating unit. I try to avoid unproductive thinking & action, except for some downtime activity, like this site nely added to my repertoir.
HMU as thge kids say, with whatevber you'd like to talk about. I'm no great shakes for sports, cars, or Hollywood, but 'most anything else is fair game. . .
