Im gender fluid so ive had some practice with cutting masculine scene/emo hair. From what ive learned it's more choppy layers and charp edges and i think bigger hair. I have a collection of tutorials for various things to do with scene/emo hair and clothes on YouTube if you would be interested in that link. If you havent already there are ways to cut your face framing pieces to look more masculine. I'd also look at various photos of scene/emo men and find little consistencies you may be seeing that I might be missing. Good luck, my ims are open if you have more questions or help.
