What book changed your perception the most?

Not exactly the one you liked, or agreed with. In this sense, I mean the one that rearranged your logic, even against your will. The one that forced you to redraw your mental map of the world.

not really a book that changed my mind that much about the worldview, but it definetively game a new persective on how people think.

"The Witch: A History of Fear, from Ancient Times to the Present"
by Ronald Hutton

the book talks about the tale of entities that are similar to "the witch" in many cultures. it made feel surprised that even tho we didn't talk to eachother back then, our thoughts still somewhat aligned. how can sooo many different tribes, civilizations and families all express their fear of this otherwordly figure who haunts them???
