Favorite Video Game Locations

Not sure if this topic has been posted here. Anyways,

What's your favorite video game locations?

I'll start with a few of mine:

Starlight Carnival - Sonic Colors (Wii)

A vast fleet of ships decorated in vibrant lights that stretches as far as the eye can see. Speeding though Starlight Carnival, bobbing and weaving between ships and satellites is one of my favorite experiences I've had in Sonic. (There are a lot.

Also has one of my favorite bosses in Colors (Frigate Orcan).

Sellbot Headquarters - Disney's Toontown Online

A polluted wasteland covered in junk and vast factories. The sky is dark and full of smog. The base of operations for the Sellbots is my second favorite Cog HQ in TTO. Fighting the patrolling Sellbots and traversing the Sellbot Factory are some particular highlights.

Sellbot HQ's Courtyard music is one of my all time favorite tracks from TTO.

Eggman Expo - Sonic Racing CrossWorlds

A platform in the clouds in the shape of Eggman's Face, celebrating the creations and genius of Dr. Eggman. As a massive Badnik fan, Seeing a bunch of them displayed with such grandiose made me giddy. Also seeing the Egg Gunner from '06 in HD was really sick.

Also has one of my favorite tracks in the game.

The Headquarters - Madness: Project Nexus

Somewhere in Nevada Central lies the headquarters of Status Quo (S.Q.). Between having two of my favorite NPCS (Skinner MD, and Qbert) and being a nice place to rest after some carnage, The Headquarters has a nice ambience that no other places in the game have

Something to note is that you have a nice view Nevada Central from the Helipad.

deepnest is not really a fan favourite i would say, considering how… creepy and critter-y it is. but i like it precisely of tht . just bugs clicky clacking around . makes for a good asmr lol

celestial resort … it’s just . idk, you have to play it to really experience it . (or watch a gameplay )

Sky: Children of the light: isle of dawn. a kinda vast and chill place with pretty lavender colors and butterflies throughout! even tho it's not as greenish or lively as other realms, it's still very nice in my eyes.

Skyrim: Whiterun. a very well designed city full of life and interesting people to meet! also the best place to live in all of skyrim.

Babbdi: the house district. the atmosphere of the very tall apartment buildings made of concrete made only for an enormous ammount of silence amuses me a lot. the sheer size of place, yet it only houses a very small number of people.

Laika: aged through blood: where all was lost. an incredibly sad place to visit knowing it's history. however it houses most of the memories the main character has of her life outside of constant conflict. yet also the place where her more painful memories reside.

Night in the woods: the bridge. not only does it house an incredibly rad opossum (his name is rabies), but also its an incredible view of the landscape colors that shine brightly compared to other areas.

rly cool places.

The Gate - Super Mario Galaxy I don't endorse the 2nd re-release, but that's personal and shouldn't stop you from playing the game how you want.

Beautiful tutorial planet with some amazing music. There is a reason someone made a video about it.

The Well - Animal Well

I know the whole game takes place in the well but I don't care. It's all good.

Shakan - Shin Megami Tensei 5: Vengeance

I have no idea why Angles guard a maze of gravity puzzles, but gosh the halls are pretty and music is ethereal.

The Red Desert - Narita Boy

Amazing music and fun local to explore and learn some lore. Yep, that's going here.

Twilight Theater - Pseudoregalia

Peak platforming and great music. I couldn't forget even if I tried.

Crystal Abyss - Sonic Robo Blast 2 Kart

Really hard map to do time trials on, but it's the only map I wanted to time trial for all the challenge it offers. Plus it has some neat Drift City music.
