day 2: weird colours

u might be thinking. callie. where are the fucking colours? so uhhh i have negative time and also i rlly didnt wanna colour this month lol. so i was like what has weird colours? well today i was learning abt high mass stars (this is gonna get neeky sorry haha). after hydrogen fusion comes to an end, the outer layer of the star disperses into a planetary nebula, which has weird colours!! (this is the theme can you tell.) and the remaining core becomes a white dwarf.

i thought i could lavendertowne-style anthropomorphise them into anime girls. i dont think i did a wonderful job because they are simply too boring for stars, but i had so little time that im just glad i did something lol. anyway lore: they are sisters, the white dwarf got the short and plain genes and the planetary nebula got the tall and colourful genes. and the older sister is leaving home for the first time and the little sister is bummed out about it.

i tried to do shape language.. like giving the older sister wrist scrunchies and a more flow-y dress and an afro to show that she's the more explode-y girl, and the younger sister being all crouched down at the bottom and having really flat hair.. again i think they're too boring for literal STARS but somethings better than nothing!!

i am just now realising that if they are biological sisters it would be likely they have the same hair texture.. i should have given her locks.. oh well too late now snoooork mimimimi
