When did rome end for you?

A lot of historians will have disagreements on when the Roman Empire truly fell. Some will make the distinction that Rome ended with Western Rome, some say it was when Constantinople fell, and the discussion could really be stretched. Ive even heard that you could technically stretch rome out to 1922!

So when does rome end for you, and why?
