Limit your internet usage, avoid websites with infinite scrolls or if you can't find ways to limit your scrolling (I have web add ons that help me avoid them) and if you do use social media use it at your computer instead of on your phone.

I think the problem is mostly with how much it's controlled now. Early internet was based mostly on creativity, you could do/make pretty much everything. But now everything is sponsored or owned and censored by billionaires so not only are you getting fed what everyone wants you to see, you don't usually care to look outside of it because it's ALL you see
