If you value this platform, let's come up with a plan to spread the word and keep it going. I only just recently found out about this site. I'm thinking we could do like a "road crew" situation and maybe get QR codes posted around our towns or something. Maybe with a tagline like, "SpaceHey- social media how it used to be."
Aside from the usual posting about this site on other platforms, let's here your ideas!!

Spreading the word certainly helps. When it comes to longevity it also needs to include a way to keep the people who join remaining active. I see lots of people joining daily but many fall off and don't continue to use the site and help spread the word about it after. I get it, it's because it doesn't look very active on the surface so people don't think it's worth sticking around.
If people join they should definitely join with friends because that's an almost guarantee way to form instant engagement. Friends interact with friends who run into new people and make new friends. I think anyone who has the means to support the site financially should do so as well since the money goes into the management, upkeep, and new features for the site.

I don't log in much anymore (does it show?) but it would be nice to recognize faces more often around here. That said, someone I know from elsewhere just randomly told me they're on SpaceHey too (without knowing about me) so we can't be doing that badly, visibility-wise.
