getting into the eva rebuilds...

so about a month ago i finished evangelion n teoe and started watching the rebuilds shortly after. i really  really enjoyed the 1st movie and the 2nd one was a bit all over the place but whatevarrrr. when i got to the 3rd movie is when i started to lose interest in the rebuilds and dropped the 3rd movie halfway thru... i really really like the evangelion series as a whole and want to watch the rest of the movie and 3.0+1.0 just to say i have really watched everything (yes, including death and rebirth and the petit eva spinoffs)

i started to lose interest because  ive always really really loved evangelion's unique style of characters and scenery but at the start of the 3rd movie when i saw almost all of the old cast changed i just immediatly lost all interest in watching the rest of the movie. and then there was midori that was hella annoying and that buff dude that i forgot his name... they all just seemed to boring and plain like this was just another anime to fill the catalog..

so now im asking if it really is worth watching it all to the end (3.0 and 3.0+1.0)!!
