The floral shirt I altered

Here is a shirt that I altered a while back! I sadly don't have a before pic, but it had like 1/2 sleeves and a 1/4 button up neckline. I liked the pattern but it didn't fit quite right, so I cut off the sleeves and the neckline and hemmed it. I made sure to keep some of the buttons because they're cute, and I wanted cami-style straps. I think I did pretty good for it being completely hand-sewn and cut. I don't wear it out too often because the straps fall off and I don't quite trust it. I want to keep practicing until I can really trust my own work.

Just altered a new shirt! I'm linking the pinterest tutorial that I used. It was really quick and easy and didn't require any sewing, but my only complaint is that the holes that the strings go through are really fragile and I'm worried that they will rip. Nonetheless, I'm wearing it next time I go climbing bc I made it from a t-shirt I got from a recent competition. The second photo is the outfit that I'm gonna wear I'm so excited! I can't show the logo or the back bc it shows where I live.

MY HALLOWEEN COSTUME !!!

I know it's super late. It was really fun to make though. I used another shirt to trace out the shape, but I did it wrong, so there was way too much room under the arms and on the neckline. I fixed it by adding part of the hem from the bottom that I cut off. I even had enough extra fabric to cover up the accessories because they were also leopard-print, but it was a different type, so they would've clashed. I also added black lacey ribbon to fix it further and make it look fancy. I think it turned out okay and I would wear it again, but I had a lot of sewing machine issues throughout the month and a half-ish that I spent making it. I used a top from Goodwill.
