Okay so my main point it is it just me... or this years kpop just isn't giving? idk I feel like a lot of releases this year have been very lackluster, other than a few releases which I myself really enjoyed and would recommend to others, a lot of it just bores me.Β
For example (this is not a jab at the group) AESPA... don't get me started on dirty work, it's not bad but idk compared to other releases it feels so unmemorable and I'm not the biggest fan of rich man or the final released version at least because the demo ver had this punk vibe and ngl I thought it was much better than the final version which was just watered down and smoothed over, it really just lacks character imo. Again this isn't a jab at aespa themselves (because I love the girls srsly I've loved sm of their releases).
anyway other than that, what have been your fav releases this year? (I'd really like some recs ^ ^)
