SpaceHey and Spam

I'm pretty sure there is moderation, but they're too lazy to actually ban/kick the spam/promotion accounts from SpaceHey. Moderation in general is kind of scarce here in my opinion, because I've seen literal 10-12 year olds on here. And when the mods do moderate, they usually ban people who have done nothing wrong. 

I've been wondering about it for a while now, but today I scrolled past 7 forum topics or so, about some supplements or whatever. And I often get added to friends by music spam. Not to mention that blogs are full of posts about things that could be given a second thought, but they are a normal and expected thing when opening that tab. 

I assumed Spacehey just never had enough moderation to deal with it, given the size of the project, but today I realized that I have never seen a single mod on the entire site. Has anyone else seen any moderators?
