VampireFreaks

I know that this website still exists today as a web store, but did you know that it began as an alternative lifestyle social media platform? Was anybody else a member of it way back in the day? It was that "edgier goth" version of Myspace and Facebook the same way that DeadJournal was the dark version of LiveJournal. I'm honestly surprised to still see it alive and fully embracing probably the one thing that people kept using it for, the online shop.

Anyway, the only reason I thought of it was because I'm trying to find bat sunglasses for a goth Guy Fieri costume and thought that VampireFreaks might have some in stock haha.

Yes ! !

I knew it was an edgy MySpace inspired thingymabob, but I found that out after I tried to buy stuff from there, but sadly, it was too expensive due to my country's currency.

Aw dang, that majorly stinks. :/ They had a little store back when it was still a social media site too, but the focus was way more on your personal profile, friends, and posting in their own forums. I remember a lot of bands had profiles there, kind of like the way MySpace was a place used to promo music.

Yeah, had an account there. Most users there were very stuck-up.

Yeah, I remember a lot of snooty people too. I don't remember exactly the interactions I had, but someone always had some sort of sarcastic or derisive thing to say. I mainly kept to myself and my friends because of that.
