Just trying things out

Spirituality is so weird for me because I'm very drawn to it but never fully commit as I don't believe in every single thing about it or at least not 100%. It's something that brings me calm and makes me feel more connected to the earth at times or distress but not something I believe in completely if that makes sense.

The fact that spirituality itself is so open and every person has their own more extreme or more relaxed version of it makes it both less intimidating to get into but scarier.

I usually keep my beliefs to myself because they're mostly intuition and don't know how other people will take those ideas. Is this how other spiritual people feel? I just trust my gut and believe something because a little voice (not a literal one) on the back of my head tells me that's how it is.

Would love to see what others think.

For me I was definitely skeptical when I started my taking my spirituality seriously. My main concern was I didn't wanna sound bat shit crazy or like a religious bigot. It took a lot of practice for me to come to a point where i can confidently say I believe in a higher power. For me one of the best things about being spiritual is that it really doesn't matter what it is you believe in, but only what it can do for you. Grant you peace, make you feel more connected to your community or with nature, really whatever feels right for you. It can be scary but you gotta talk about it with open minded people and practice any kind of meditation or prayer or literally anything that helps you feel connected to a god, higher power, universe, something!

If you feel like there's something out there, stay open minded! stay willing to learn and have the courage to explore new things. I hope this helped and good luck on your journey :)
