Have you ever written an own creepypasta?

i remember i started writing this creepypasta in 2023 about some family who forgets to invite the mascot to their son's themed birthday party. the whole plot was you thought the mascot was actually possessing the kid with the way he talked 'buffy wants cake, buffy wants candy' and being hostile when he was told no. the mascot disappears and the kid starts acting funny. no one but the eldest thinks he's acting weird. the oldest daughter finds out that he's not possessed, but he was actually skinned by something that has no idea how to act like him - its struggles to slip into the kid's personality making him look possessed. it's like an elongated human muscular system with teeth down in its throat. the species is much more fleshed out now lol. the creature ends up skinning the oldest girl - Molly as the fight in the garage. the mom gets home and finds her son's skin, but her daughter missing. the creature is much better at impersonating molly after spending a couple weeks with the family.

it was terribly written, but i liked the idea of the twist and playing with the need for the uncanny valley to be a warning system for a creature that's humanity's predator. the species, like i said, is much more fleshed out now and i've added two more variants. the origan story for the creature - which was named 'Jaws' despite being deathly afraid of water has been scrapped/completely rewritten :3
