Hey guys whats up :)
Before we dive in, I want to take a moment to explain what this fic is and what it isn’t.
This story started with In the Mind’s Eye by Artamagedon — a Regular Show Fanfic I absolutely loved when I was younger which focuses heavily on Mordecai/Rigby. It left a big mark on me, and I always hoped to see it completed. When the author announced they wouldn’t be finishing it, I decided to take a leap and create my own continuation.
This isn’t Artamagedon’s version of events, and I don’t want to pretend it is. Think of this more like an alternate path, a personal spin born out of admiration for the original <3. My goal isn’t to “replace” their work but to honor it — to keep the story alive in a way that feels true to me.
