What inspired you to become a kemonomimi?

I saw other kemonomimis expressing themselves and felt easily at home! I am friends with therians and furries so it was only a matter of time till I found you guys! 

I started to see a lot of artists making ear and tail sets years ago and have followed them on social medias sense then. I made myself some ears I would just wear around the house until this winter I bought myself a nice ear tail set and have started to wear them out. I use it as fashion, self expression, and a form of coping. I feel myself when I wear them and am so glad I was finally brave enough to start experimenting with it like I have wanted to for all these years.

It started off when I was a little younger, checking out stuff, I saw therians doing quads and knew the meaning, but it didn’t feel right. Then, I thought I was a furry, before realizing that also wasn’t it…(for multiple reasons.)

But when I saw others on social media creating animal ear sets and tails, I was so inspired by their creativity. Just watching people feel so free while wearing ears and tail out in public made me find out what I truly was, Aswell as some connections with others. I draw my oc most the time to cope and make me feel comfortable. >_<
