alchemy stars, anyone?

was alchemy stars anyone's fave game in general? or fave gacha in particular? i used to love alchemy stars for the gameplay, i miss calamity and desolation codex so so so much... other challenge content was fun too (other than a few spire floors. boo.), but i really like the middle ground between using any team for any floor of spire and needing many teams simultaneously for one floor of the abyss. the story was nice too, even though i didn't really pay as close attention to it as hands-on gameplay. my boy mendelson :((((( the design team behind alcstars was incredible too!!!!! i wish they credited their artists in character profiles like arknights does.

i've heard there're efforts to bring some (?) of former live version features to the offline version, but i don't want to make discord just for that. could anyone tell me how's the progress, if that's allowed by mod makers?
