I’m doing it for real this time. I’m getting off of social media. I have downloaded this app called “beeper” which allows me to still access my instagram chats, I recommend it if thats one of the things holding you back!
I am so SICK of picking up my phone 20+ times a day to mindlessly scroll instagram reels or some shit. I am a person with so many hobbies, but I find myself reaching for social media instead. Gonna try to replace social media time with making art and music. I also suffer from ADHD and I think my dopamine reception is just totally shot. Anything that takes time or effort to enjoy/be good at feels so HARD. I want to be able to sit down and learn something or teach myself a new skill without my brain subconsciously yearning for the ease of an endless scroll of videos.
Does anybody have similar issues???
