how are u still expressing ur gender identity while in the closet?

i haven't told my in-laws (who i'm currently living with) that i'm trans but i already gotten my top surgery before i moved in. also i start hrt in october.

maybe i won't need to come out and they will catch on but im still closeted enough that i need to wear girl clothes and makeup for family events lol

I'm really late with this reply but.. I'm never "coming out". I am just going to slowly present more at a pace where people that I am around a lot don't really notice (not too many alarms at once). Then at some point I am who I want to be. Changes take time anyway. They'll either catch on or they won't doesn't really matter to me! How did things work out 4 u?
