Hello, my name is Ulysses, but I like being refereced as kosmos online. I'm 16, going on 17, and I'm from Brazil and paraguay (I'm also half Argentinian, but who cares?). I'm a Pisces, I love watching old movies with my boyfriend and reading even older books. I make some silly drawings sometimes and some weird caricatures of my mean teachers.
My world is built of music, books, and apples.
October Country, The Smiths, The Shaggs, Dionysos, HIM, The Yellow Balloon, The Beatles, Conde e Dracula, Os Mutantes, Pusher174, Gritando HC, Misfits, Chico Buarque, Raul Seixas, Belchior, Ratos de Porão, Garotos Podres, Charlotte Matou um Cara, Bulimia, Merda, Matanza… and so many more. I love French music from the 60s, British sounds from the 70s, and Brazilian music in general.
My favorite mangas are Witch Hat Atelier, Dungeon Meshi, Junji Ito’s works, and Frieren. But I also like watching 90s OVAs and cartoons.
Writers I live with: Albert Camus, Dostoevsky, Tolstoy, Kafka, Clarice Lispector, Tove Jansson, Machado de Assis, and many more.
The Cult.

I started this because I believe our generation deserves a space to create freely, without algorithms or machines deciding what’s ‘good enough.’ I know that the word Cult doesn't work here, but I was aiming for something strong and slightly off-putting to stand out more.
As all small-town outcasts, I find myself really found on books, my imagination, and the internet to build my own space. Looking at the river on the coldest nights of the year, I ponder why I'm not like the others here. I, too, wished that drinking and smoking could make me feel more relieved. I don't find myself special for that. In this society, the more you stand out, the more troubled you are. I'm someone very introspective, and with socialization issues due to they way I was raised, drawing made me have a sense of identity. I wasn't just the weird boy who didn't talk to anyone, I was there making drawings of my ocs or what I was feeling like. Art made things easier to me when connecting with other people, my classmates started talking to me, asking me about what I was drawing, or if I could make something for them or join their group for some project. Now that I have a more stabilized social life in the real world, I like making weird drawings and showing them to my friends, and it never fails to make them laugh.
I always wanted a community of my own and, more importantly, to find creative teens who make amazing work.

(The eyes are the windows of the soul, so here are mine)
