Hard for me to choose to be honest, but I'd probably say House of 1000 Corpses is my favorite. I love most of Rob Zombie's projects so I'm a little biased lol

There’s honestly so many but probably
Ginger snaps (obvi) final Destination, house of wax, saw, scream (1,2 and 3) and house of 1000 corpses

thats difficult, because my favorite horror movie isn't the scariest i've ever watched...
Audition and Get Out are amazing psychological thrillers, but Skinamarink literally kept me up at night
Favorite overall is likely Re-Animator, its not too scary but I love it anyway

Alien (1978) and The Thing.
Honorific mention to Friedkin's Sorcerer just because of the bridge scene. Worst tension in my life.

It has to be The Exorcist, the movie adaptation was awesome!
The book has more time to really hit at you with sudden death

This is a rlly easy question for me, so it's gotta be 28 days later! Seriously the best zombie movie ever imo, and the fact that it's not like other "infections" makes it even scarier! People that look... somewhat normal but act like a rabid animal creeps me tf out. It's visually gorg and I'm still shocked how they got London to look abandoned, like how did they not have a bunch of ppl walking around? There's no movie that can beat 28 days later! :)

there are many. <ready or not> (i guess everyone knows this movie) and also i love <viy> . It is soviet 1966(?) movie adaptation of Nickolay Gogol book with the same name. i reccomend to watch it . it's not that scary, just very aesthetic and interesting . you will love it if youre interested in slavic culture, ortodox cristianity aesthetic and all that stuff

Oh, it's been a long while since I've seen a good horror movie. I think the last one I had seen was Skinamarink. It probably isn't the best. Hell, I almost gave up like, half an hour into it. Once it got me hooked though, I couldn't look away.
It started slowly getting more and more tense, and I swear I had never been so spooked by a toy phone lol

The entire ginger snaps series is on my top 5 list DEF!!
- Reanimator (the entire series)
- Anything by Frank Henenlotter (Frankenhooker, Brain Damage, ect)
- Evil Dead (all of them)
- Little shop of horror (the musical one)
- American Mary
Just to name a few but my top fav genre in general is just theatrical, cheesy horror. Regular "scary horror" is still top tier movie night material but the cheesier they are the more Im likely to enjoy them lolol

All about hidden gems.
* Inseminoid
* Galaxy of Terror
* Suddenly In The Dark
* Lifeforce
* The Stuff
I currently started to dig for more lesser known and hidden works that has some serious rewatch potential. Honorable mentions to Dawn of The Dead, The Thing and The Ring. Their popular but has gem quality.
