I play a lot of melee and I want to know the general opinions of that game on here, the game is controversial so I imagine there is a lot.

I main Marth and I use slippi all the time but I refuse to pay for ranked, I have started going to locals lately but the scene near me is pretty small so I’m looking for more people who play the game.

You don’t need to stick to the questions just say whatever you want about the game if you play it or any other smash 

  • Who do you main
  • Do you use slippi/unclepunch
  • Do you go to locals or any tournaments 
  • Do you have anything about the game that you truly hate
  • Opinion on spacies 
  • When did you start playing melee

i don't use slippi, so i know nothing about it, but do you have to pay to use certain parts of it? that's really dumb, if so

but anyway

  • Who do you main

i play jigglypuff. in every other smash game, kirby is my main, but melee is unfinished and horribly made so  kirby's kind of hard to use in melee, his grab outright doesn't even work...

  • Do you use slippi/unclepunch

i managed to get it physically on the gamecube years ago! i'm still surprised that i just kind of managed to find it, i was under the impression it'd be much more difficult to get

  • Do you go to locals or any tournaments 

i don't know where to go to participate in something like that, there aren't too many game scenes at all near me...
and regardless, i don't feel like i'm good enough at the game to even try that

  • Do you have anything about the game that you truly hate

i spoiled it slightly when talking about kirby but i don't like how buggy and clearly unfinished the game is. impressive, to be sure, they managed to cram it full of content and completely overhaul the visuals in with only 11 months of development, but it paid the price in the character balancing and the weird physics engine it has

  • Opinion on spacies

  • When did you start playing melee 

i think i got my copy in 2019, i know it was after i started playing ultimate but before 2020
