Putting labels on fashion

This might be a controversial opinion (or nobody gives a shit :P) but I feel like this generation has too many labels for fashion.Like some - I'll even say most- make sense.Styles like Punk,Gothic,scene,gyaru and more are not just styles they're movements.They deserve the recognition, but honestly some of these others are just taking it too far and putting pressure on our youth to HAVE to identify with a specific style.I see this mostly on Tiktok.A perfect example of this is "clean girl core " like those are just basic clothes?? Also all those watered down subcultures (clean goth,clean gyaru etc.) What happened to just wearing what you want and what suits you?? But yeah that was just my pointless rant. I guess my message is just wear whatever you want and if you don't want to stick to one style don't. 

(This goes for just clothes and styles in general not movements or rebellion started cultures)
