you cant go and find new music - music finds you
rateyourmusic and last fm and any site alike for finding any music is not good because on rym there is a lot of smug redditors and last fm is full of children putting wrong genres on everything
if you want to search for music i suggest you find any band or artist of the genre you like and look for similar ones, then go through project after project in hopes of finding something you would like
