The White Album is one of my top favorite Beatles albums.
Also, it kind of isn't a "Beatles" album, but more of an album by Paul, John, George and Ringo.
The album includes some of the BEST Beatles songs, but let's face it, there's some stinkers on thus.
So instead of a DOUBLE album with some stinkers on it, how do we pair it down to make a legendary SINGLE album?
Rules:
1) You can only use the tracks that appeared on the original album - no outtakes, or tracks from other albums, or whatever.
2) To make it like an actual Beatles album from the era, it needs to be fourteen tracks total.
3) there are four "George" songs, two of them need to go.
4) Ringo sings lead on two songs, one of them needs to go.
5) The rest need to be 'balanced' between John and Paul.
