Power system for a story (credit not needed)

It's a sort of divine sacrificial power. You can sacrifice any object you deeply love to God, and you get powers relating to that item (shoes = super speed, leaves = control over nature) and the faith you have in God depends on how strong that ability is. For example, say you sacrificed a gun but have little faith in God. You have slight aimlock but only for non-lethal areas. But if you had a crazy amount of faith in God. You can headshot something from across the multiverse. Anyways, the story i was originally going with this was a guy who's at peace with nature and creation. And his faith is completely devout, he finds every object sacred. Meaning he can sacrifice anything he wants, but only three times a day. But eventually, God starts getting corrupted by his omnipotence. And the main character sacrifices his faith in God to become true creator, and a symbol of hope.

I was heavily inspired by Gachiakuta.
