i have a lot of friends that always smokes or vaping
they even drink alcohol even tho their still a minor
i never do those things, and sometimes i adviced them to stop, they wont obvi, but i wont forced them because is their life
i always told them that smoking makes your lips dry and ugky and makes your breath stank, but i guess they dont mind having a stinky breath

I usually stay away from people with those kinds of addictions, as they tend to be bad to hang out with in general, but some of my friends smoke.
I'd recommend you to not try to change their ways honestly. You know it's bad, they know it's bad (probably) but speaking to them about it might make you look like you're trying to scold them like a parent.
If they try to make you try it, say no and stop hanging out with them if necessary.
