The Fine Art of Surfacing

I was recommended this album by my mom. We recently watched a Live Aid documentary and Bob Geldof was a big part of it so she asked if I had listened to this album and when I said no she said I had to listen to it right away. Not gonna lie that album cover had my second guessing if I should.. I liked this album overall though. I don't think it gripped me as much as my mom described it gripping her back when it came out. Maybe the "I don't like mondays" song hit a lot harder when it came out at the same time of the shooting (and mass shootings weren't as common). Lots of these songs are fun, some of these songs are a bit annoying like Wind Chill Factor (Minus Zero). I'm glad to add another album to my list of albums where there is one complete outlier song though, the song in question being Episode #3. Favorite tracks: Someone's Looking At You, Sleep (Finger's Lullaby), When the Night Comes.
