Hey there! I'm ash! I keep trying and trying to make masks, but they always come out lopsided and look asymmetrical. Any tips on making them look at least somewhat decent? (I work with cardboard, btw. Just thought that might help with context)

i've been making masks for quite a while now! Here are some tips that really have helped me:
-use felt! It gives masks more texture and makes them look more detailed
-take your time. there is no 'deadline' for making a mask. be patient
-use hot glue- not pva or any other kind
-its okay not to like a mask. you can always try again
-adding fur tufts to the ears and the side of the mask makes them look good too
-smaller scissors for details
-really spread on the paint thick so it stays on
