💘SUGARBEAR LORE THINGY💘

Another sketch page, this time starring Sugarbear/Nakri.

INSIDE OUT

Bishop in the garden alongside a woman, unbothered and enjoying the sunrise. The woman next to him is names Toffee, she is his friend (and is also friends with Brig as well)

Toffee works at a coffee shop named "Maison Pi" an excellent establishment founded by her widowed father. She works as a "maidrista" which is half maid half barista.

Both Brig and Bishop are her friends. However, Toffee doesn't know about his hatred towards Bishop (yet..), she assumes it's some sort of rivalry that doesn't seem to be going anywhere

As for Brig, the reason for his ever-growing hatred for Bishop isn't as complex as it seems. The reason for it is because he simply just does not like him, in fact, he has no idea what is it that makes people want to interact with him.

Bishop on the other hand feels differently, he doesn't feel anything negative towards him, regardless of how Brig feels about him, Bishop is nothing but kind to him, along with those who might feel the same about him, as he sees it as the right thing to do.

Unlike Brig and Bishop who are Object-Based Neutrals, Toffee is a VNeutral, which is half Vfox and half Neutral. she almost looks nearly identical to her late mother, except the ears and eyes, as she got the ear and eye shape from her father.

UTOR

If you didn't know, Utor is around 100 something years old and is considered by peers to be the role model/leader type figure of the household. He cannot go through a day without one or two cups of coffee, if he doesn't, he'll wake up in a bad mood, or... maybe lash out at people.

Utor has his own business where he sells mobile and immobile condos for a living, which he makes truckloads of money from. Unlike his brothers Mangkhut and Haiyan, Utor has a gold/yellow/black color scheme in his design and is the tallest out of the two.

DARK OCEANA

Shanshan works as the caretaker of Kong-Rey's many, many animals (both attack and non-attack animals), primarily the aquatic ones. The majority of animals Kong-Rey has in his possession were originally from his father Malakas (the previous Thayan emperor of the Ronanio dynasty).

Kong-Rey was just 19 years old when Shanshan started working for him (Kong-Rey was 18 years old when he became the emperor of Thayas).

Shanshan has two jobs, the first being the one I've mentioned here, the second being his business of making and selling his sharkpops (which are popsicles in the shape of sharks), the sharkpops are what you can consider as the creation he's most passionate for (including the mascot for said brand named Mr Chompy, a cartoonish looking shark who, according to Shanshan, is full of curiosity, has a love for adventuring, ice cream and hanging out with the local neighbors in the ocean).

ROTTEN KING

"Galveston stood there for a few minutes after the now former king ran off, he then saw a glowing red crystal standing on a table next to the throne, a crystal that he couldn't get his eyes off of, as if it was tempting him to come see it, he couldn't resist it so he decided to walk over there and take a look at it, he decided to touch it, and it transformed his appearance [like the one you see here], he looked at himself in the mirror and couldn't believe what he had become."

MAGIC HOUR

Years have passed, and she has since then finished everything she needed to do at school, as time passed, she pretty much decided to leave her dreams of becoming a graceful ballerina behind. She has reached her adult years since then. Life as always, was going great for her. One day, she decided to go visit a Cafe that was in the town square, which happened to be the exact same town square her neighborhood was at. But, what she didn't know was that this Cafe would be the place where her life would take an unexpected turn.. for the better.

She got her order and was on her way to go back to her table, and began to eat and drink, while she was enjoying her time there, another person entered the Cafe, this person was a man, all dressed in black. This person happened to be none other than Galveston. While he was awaiting his order, he caught a glimpse of Kendall, just a few seconds after seeing her, he felt a warm fuzzy feeling inside, he never felt this way before, Kendall noticed him as well and she felt something that she had never felt before, but she felt the same way he did, it was love at first sight for the both of them.

Galveston went over there to Kendall to talk to her, and there, the both of them would have a conversation and got to know each other a bit and their lives along with some other stuff, Galveston was mayor of LPTT (Little People Tiny Town) at the time, upon hearing about this, Kendall was amazed, and surprised at the same time. After seeing how amazing and jolly of a person he is, Kendall made the decision to introduce him to her family, to which he accepted.

When she introduced Galveston to her family, her mother and her sisters were delighted to meet him and have him around, unfortunately her father didn't accepted Galveston, not because he was a bad influence (which Galveston wasn't), it's because of the fact that he came from the countryside of Rollota, he absolutely despised country people. What wasn't mentioned was that the majority of people that bullied Kendall's father as a child were from the countryside. He told Kendall that he loved her and wanted the best for her, but he didn't want her to be gallivanting around with country men. Kendall's mother saw nothing wrong with Galveston and told her that there was nothing to worry about. Kendall on the other hand was just embarrassed with the way her father was reacting, and still insisted on being with Galveston.

She didn't care where Galveston was from, or how he looked, she loved him just the way he is, and how he is as a person, she knew Galveston would never hurt her or her family, she knew that he is a kind person that would always put his loved ones first. When Galveston introduced Kendall to his parents, things were different, as they absolutely loved Kendall and saw her as a great, honest, and selfless person, perfect to be Galveston's potential significant other. Kendall told his parents about her situation with her father, and how he was not so accepting of Galveston because of his place of origin, his parents saw this behavior as inappropriate and shameful, and told her that her father should know that not all people from the country are terrible, and they went to comfort Kendall.

As both Kendall and Galveston became closer and closer to each other than ever before, her father's behavior slowly grew more erratic and aggressive towards Galveston. Whenever she invited Galveston over to spend time with her, her father would scold her for simply just being with Galveston, even going as far as to verbally attack Galveston, hurling firey language towards him with every chance he got. Of course as expected, Galveston would defend himself and his relationship with Kendall. Her father's behavior towards him was so terrible that Kendall would sometimes find herself on the verge of tears, trying her very best to hold it in.

Kendall's mother was ashamed and rightfully angry at her husband, she knew Galveston wasn't doing anything other than exist and be kind and loving to Kendall, so on one quiet morning, where everyone was but she and her husband were asleep, she decided to storm over to the living room (where he was at) and confronted him about his behavior, she was not going to sit by and just see her own daughter feel guilty for being with someone who genuinely loves and cares for her. Hearing this, he took one long look and thought to himself, after think of all the times where he was being hostile towards Galveston, he felt absolutely horrible about himself, he felt really bad, he then realized that Galveston wasn't doing anything wrong at all. He decided to find both Kendall Galveston and apologize to him for all that he's done, he looked everywhere in Rollota, including every nook and cranny, it seemed hard but in the end he did manage to find the both of them outside in the park. He went to talk to the both of them and apologized for everything, Kendall was hesitant at first, but she eventually did forgive her father, and so did Galveston.

Days passed since Kendall forgave her father for all that he's done, since then Galveston and Kendall continued to spend time, visit places, talk to each other, and be madly in love with each other, maybe kissed here and there. One beautiful night while the two of them were at the fountain that stood in the town square Galveston proposed to Kendall. Upon hearing this, she almost bursts into tears, but she didn't cry, she happily said yes, and told him just how much he made her happy, and how much he has changed her life.

Two days later, the two jolly lovers got married, and to describe how joyous of a wedding it was, hear it from one of Kendall's sisters herself:

"The entire thing felt and looked like a fairytale that came to life, but except it was more magical than a story such as that could ever be, though I've only socialized with Galveston here and there due to my job as a fashion model, you can tell from the way he was acting and looking that he genuinely loved Kendall, she really did made him feel like the most happiest man in the world, and how he made her feel the same, you can tell that they were definitely made for each other, they're like... more than just your average match made in heaven type of deal. I really do hope and wish the best for their blossoming marriage and a wondrous and unbreakable relationship between the two of them!~" - Britney McClain.

WHY? (TW: Implied Toxic relationship/domestic violence?)

I wanted to draw some lore art featuring one of my characters Michael. 

What happened was that he ran away from home in search of someone who'll care about him, somewhere along the way, he came across a building where you can rent a girlfriend for 50-90 days and once those days passed you can decide if you want to marry or not. There, that was when he met Fifi, and things went downhill from there, as she was stealing his money without his knowledge for her own personal needs, wants and desires, when he confronted her about this after finding out, she attacked him and threw him outside the hotel they were staying at through the emergency exit.

BLACK STARS

Started making this after I finished watching the sequel to a movie on Tubi (because I couldn't find the sequel anywhere else, and also I realized I could watch anything without making an account on Tubi). This drawing of Roxanne is partially inspired off of said movie. The other half is partially inspired off of a song.

About Roxanne, her favorite type of shoes she likes wearing the most are high heeled boots, she has a fairly large collection of them. When it comes to revealing clothing, it's sort of an occasional thing, it really depends on if she wants to dress revealing or not.

PINK BUNNY

There was this one moment in college where she (Roxanne), was celebrating her birthday with some of her friends that were there, her friends accidentally gave her sunflowers which almost killed her, that was when she found out that she had a sunflower allergy.

LIME CRIME

Besides making music with Dennis, Roxanne also has a burning passion for making art, and she's am expert at doing so, Dennis on the other hand, can't draw to save his life (im serious).

ORANGE CRUNCH

This isn't the first time I've drawn something frutiger themed (and it won't be the last).

When I get the time, I will come to drop some interesting Mr Bear lore in the future.

GARDENIA

"After the event happened, he couldn't stop thinking about his wife and kids who are now gone, it's gotten so bad that not only was he unable to think straight and just seem to stare off into nowhere, he couldn't sleep at night sometimes, it almost made him get insomnia"

ANGELIC ECSTASY 

When you're down to find a serene place in Star City to take a breather or just love plants, flowers, all things botanical, there are many gardens you can go to, like the Garden Of Daydreams, which is the most popular one out of the many gardens in Star City (and is the one where most Star angels come to take breaks from working or hang around in)

It is said that the scent of the flowers in the Garden Of Daydreams are so irresistibly sweet, they can make the weak and sensitive feel disoriented for an hour or two, even if they leave the garden and that only the Star angels are strong enough to withstand the hypnotizing smell. But this is nothing but a mere rumor, take everything said with a grain of salt. 

NIGHT MAGIC

For those wondering, no, Kong-Rey is not a mascot, and he isn't the main character of the story, he's actually a secondary/side character, one that I happen to obsess over really.

He has many special moves when it comes to fighting, and this is one of them, it's "called Night Magic" (which is the title of this drawing).

This is just a drawing I made to showcase it.

FIRE & RAIN

Context is that I just wanted to draw him showing off one of his attacks (being Golden Shower) while his biggest supporters, Mangkhut and Haiyan (AKA his brothers) cheering him on.

Shanshan is the creator of the Sharkpops brand, and sometimes when he's on the day off from working for Kong-Rey, he would go to random places around Fairone to sell his lovely shark-shaped frozen treats to some nice customers.

PUT ME IN A MUSICAL

"The Queen of Star City, she is so full of grace, even when she isn't trying, so graceful, that she is equally as beautiful as a swan when donning her most elegant of dresses... she is so irresistibly, and dazzlingly fantastic, yet... she looks familiar.. like she has been seen before by people numerous times... but why?.."

FLAT COLOR SKETCH OF SALLY

Sally my beloved, this is just a small flat color sketch of her

SNAKEBERRY

The purple character here is the current boss of the restaurant "LET'S JUMP", which is your average fancy, elegant place where they serve meals that look like the ones only rich people can afford, not only that, but LET'S JUMP also has an area where you can play games and earn tokens you can use to exchange for prizes.

TLDR: LET'S JUMP is a fancy adult restaurants (AKA, restaurants where anyone 18 or older are allowed to go).

The previous boss was arrested for a crime (which will be shown later whenever I get the chance to make a comic on this)

The green haired girl is Let's Jump's number one waitress, she loves her job and is a bit of a dork. Besides being a clumsy dork, she's very kind and considerate to everyone she crosses paths with (even those who have nothing but hate to offer).

NO-TAKU

Here is a drawing I've done a long time ago, this one has an anime / manga theme going on if you look behind the characters shown here. This is simply a drawing of both SugarBear/Nakri and Song Xi Zi at a library watching anime and reading manga.

Some information about Song is that he is the captain of the emperor's soldiers, and he is fond of booze, so much so that he even has tons of it. His favorite brand of booze is one that roughly translates from mandarin Chinese to "Pacific Lady"/"Lady/woman of the Pacific". Song happens to be one of the many people Kong-Rey (the emperor of Thayas) went to school with when the both of them were children.

SugarBear is Kong-Rey's brother-in-law who is a well known celebrity and television personality in Thayas known best for being a host of his own talk show. His sister is Wipha (who is married to Kong-Rey). SugarBear is just a stage name, his real name is Nakri. 

CONSCIENCIA 

Like Mangkhut (and a few other members of the Ronanio family) Shanshan and Fengshen know how to fight and defend themselves. 

When it comes to BattleVerse, Fengshen rarely goes there, if at all. It is his buddy (and biological cousin) Shanshan that goes there sometimes, but it is to either take his anger and/or frustration out on something, or if he's feeling lucky. 

Shanshan's trident originally belonged to his father, a seasoned fighter who used to participate but has since retired once he decided to help out with raising Mangkhut and his brothers. It was him who taught Shanshan all the ins and outs of all things combat and self defense.

Fengshen's weapon was given to him as a gift by Kong-Rey

SUCKER

Third drawing I did on my iPad! I wanted to do something experimental and colorful with Michael (one of my characters). Originally this was going to be a Roxanne-based drawing (Roxanne is another of of my characters), but I decided to do Michael.

I feel the urge to post at least something here, so I don't know what's better than posting an art piece that I love to death

ROCK MY WORLD

Dennis and Roxanne are both part of a band named "Dennis & The Sexy Chickz" he is the leader, lead singer and guitarist while Roxanne is the second lead singer, Roxanne has wrote and worked on some of their most popular songs, "Die in a Fire" was the only song so far that Dennis made by himself (he wrote the lyrics, basically everything in the song).

The band was actually an idea that both Roxanne and Dennis thought of while the both of them were in college.

Sometimes in his freetime, Dennis would go to the gym and work out, in fact, the gym is one of his favorite places to go whether it's to take a breather or when he is bored. As a result of working out, and exercising, he has an eight-pack.
