Winters and Nixons relationship.

In the fandom, and in historical talks a lot of people mention the friendship, closeness, and potential relationship between Winters and Nixon. As there is numerous pieces of evidence exchanged from photos, letters, internalized homophobia in some aspects that are presumed. Things Winters have said, the way they’d talk about each other with such admiration. I’d just like to know if anyone had any opinions on this matter.
