Ferry looked him in the eyes for the first time since they got here, breath hitching. There he was, the person he's been looking for. The man he had waited for was standing right in front of him - this can't be happening. Andre seemed flustered, but he didn't turn away.
"How long has it been?" whispered Ferry, voice breaking with so much emotion it was hard for Andre to keep his composure.
"Too long."
The two embraced each other, leaving the test papers behind as they walked away from the desolate school- hand in hand, like they were always meant to be.
