What would be good software to screen record with?

Does anybody know how to screen record, on Mac OS X Tiger? It's the operating system I'm currently running, I have gone on both Macintosh Repository, and Macintosh Garden. Unfortunately, I was not able to find any software that I could use freely, or would even do what I thought it could. I'd be okay if it wasn't the highest quality in its recording format, as long as it isn't malware, or some virus. I would really appreciate greatly some help looking for it.
