Hi guys!! I'm new here and I wanted to talk about a subject that I studied several days ago while I was reading the Acts of the Apostles :D (it's my favorite book of the bible c:)
unfortunately, I didn't write down what I had studied that day anywhere, so I had to research it the most boring way possible -n-...(which is simply researching whether the Apostle Paul and Jesus lived at the same time)
- - Start - -
to begin with, Jesus was born first, in Nazareth, in the year 6 or 4 BC, and the Apostle Paul was born 5 or 10 years later, in Tarsus (when the Apostle Paul was born, Jesus Christ may have been 10, 6, or 8, or 4 years old).
when Jesus Christ was baptized, he was 30 years old, but I don't think Paul's age is known (I won't do the math because I'm very bad with numbers c'': ) Paul wasn't yet a Christian, but he persecuted Christians
when Jesus was crucified, he was 33, but Paul's age is unknown too, but the year Jesus Christ was crucified is generally dated to the year 30 AD, and Paul's conversion occurred around 33-36 AD
- - Conclusion - -
Conclusion? Jesus and the apostle Paul lived at the same time, with Jesus being the older and Paul the younger :b However, they didn't literally live in the same land, nor did they ever speak to each other. they only spoke when Jesus appeared to him (years after being crucified and resurrected), and Paul was between 27 and 31 years old when Jesus appeared to him.
I know this study might seem simple, and some might say, "Okay, they lived at the same time, so what?" But to me, it's epic and kind of fun to think that Jesus Christ and Saul lived together at the same time!
correct me if I'm wrong about age, year, or anything like that. I had to try to do some research again to write this text T.T
God bless u all!!
Long live Christ the King!
